For the third time, VKII e.V. is organising the German-African - Diaspora NRW Conference in Dortmund. The aim of the conference it to create more awareness for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union's Agenda 2063, with the aim of increasing the engagement of the African Diaspora in areas of sustainable development. The past conferences were attended by up to 200 participants from the African diaspora in North Rhine-Westphalia and from others actively engaged in One-World and development activities. The conference offers the opportunity to learn from those already actively engaged in project, to pool resources or to incubate new ideas. The welfare and the future of the African continent depends to a large extend on the joining of forces and the creation of partnerships in diverse areas of sustainable development.
OUR ANSWER TO CORONA: HYBRID
You can choose to "attend" the conference either on site or online from your home or office. In order to be accessible to all participants, all German-African-Diaspora-NRW Conference tracks will be streamed live. Using professional video technology, all lectures and workshops will be broadcast live. And that’s not all: You can also get in touch with our speakers and expo partners, even if you won’t be there!
Of course, the necessary hygiene and distance measures will be taken care of in the conference hotel. For this purpose, we carefully monitor the number of participants.
