Chief Abdul Moomen ist in vielen Bereichen aktiv und am besten bekannt für seine provokativen Prosa-Gedichte, in denen er das reiche kulturelle Erbe seines Kontinents und seines Landes thematisiert, aber auch die Folgen von Sklaverei und Kolonisierung, das indoktrinierte Minderwertigkeitsgefühl vieler Afrikaner sowie die Korruption der herrschenden Klasse und vieles mehr anprangert. Seine Bestrebung ist es, mit Mitteln der Kunst eine junge Generation von Ghanaern zu empowern, ihnen die Augen für die Schönheiten des afrikanischen Kontinents und die vielen Perspektiven im eigenen Land zu öffnen, damit sie sich von der weit verbreiteten Idee trennen, im globalen Norden würden Milch und Honig fließen. Er ist Gründer des Bambu Centers, ein Creative-Hub in Madina, einem der belebtesten Stadtteile Accras.
